As a lifelong journalist, I knew I needed an outlet to write and design stories about my deepest passions and guiltiest pleasures. Thus, UNSUNG FEMMES was born—a bi-annual print publication about underground art and culture.

Establishing the brand
In issue No. 1, I wrote and designed the entire publication. While executing both was a challenge, exploring my voice in both written and visual storytelling was an invaluable experiment.

Building the team
When it came time for issue No. 2, about a dozen of my closest and most talented friends joined the team to build on my foundation. As Editor in Chief, I oversaw everything and did the bulk of the writing and art direction.
